So I was sitting around the other day and could not help feeling like I was missing something. Was it my keys? No, I had those. My wallet? Right where I had left it. My stuffed whale? Still on the shelf next to my jar of glitter, where it belongs. And then I had it! 500 Days of Summer is what was missing! I thought that since I had made it out of my depressing post-break-up wormhole I had no need to watch Joseph Gordon-Levitt get over Zooey Deschanel anymore, but apparently I was very wrong. In a short 24 days, 500 Days of Summer became an essential part of my being that I can no longer deny. Though I am clearly terrible at following through with projects that require daily attention, I feel that my love and dedication to 500 Days runs deeper than a fleeting blog project. While I am not declaring my return to the original 500 Days project, I am officially reserving the right to use this space to gush unabashedly about all things 500 Days of Summer whenever I please.
